Joe Greenwell is known as an innovative coach that has coached numerous successful divers to national and international competitive levels. He has developed many divers who have received college scholarships for diving.
As a diver himself, Joe was a two time All American Diver and was a member of the 1983 and 1984 University of Florida National Championship diving team. He is also a two time Masters National Champion for one and ten meter competition.
He began his coaching career as an assistant coach for Dick Kimball. Joe Is considered one of the top dry land diving training experts in the country and is widely considered one of the best spotters in the country.
He has extensive judging experience having been a judge for Junior Olympics, All American High School, and NCAA National Championships and other various State and National Competitions.
