TEAMS


Bronze Team  This level further develops the skills acquired in the beginner level. In addition to those skills, the divers will also learn a front dive, a back dive , an inward dive and a front flip from the 1 meter. They will also learn front and back jumps and a front entry from the 3 meter. Divers may begin competing in U.S. Diving’s Developmental Competition.

Silver Team  This class will elaborate on the skills previously learned. New dives are taught in this class include a front dive tuck, back dive tuck, reverse dive tuck, inward dive tuck, and front flip tuck on the 1 meter. On the 3 meter, a front dive tuck and inward dive tuck will be taught.

Gold Team  The goal of the Gold Team training is to prepare the diver for the Junior Olympic Competition. They will learn the remaining dives required ny US Diving’s JO diving rules. The diver will receive specialized coaching in both dryland and water workouts individualized to their age and performance level.

Elite Team  The divers on this team are training at the Junior Olympic and National levels under United States Diving rules. At this level, diving becomes a life skill or career. Several divers from the Jetstream Elite Team have received  scholarships to college and have competed all over the world including the Olympics. All Elite Team members are expected to compete in a minimum of 6 dive meets annually.

High School  This level is for the high school diver that is interested in improving their 1 meter dives for the competitive high school season. The focus will be to improve their current list of dives and increase the degree of difficulty of optionals as required by high school rules.

 

ALL team members are required to commit to the team on a quarterly basis. You will be billed either quarterly or in monthly installments for the quarter. You will be billed at your committed team program even if your child fails to show up for practices during the quarter.

You can change your Team level only at the approval of Coach Greenwell.  

Quarters begin on September 1, December 1, March 1, and June 1. 

Coaching fees will be accessed for meets that are separate from the Team training fees. Each participant will be required to pay their own entry fees into dive meets.
